PERSONALITY.
- CURIOUS; She wouldn't be where she is today if she wasn't. Nori is quick to question what she is told, and always interested in learning new things. During her time as a Silent Sister she learned to read, and did so voraciously.
- CAUTIOUS; The way Nori has been used by people throughout her life has led her to make every decision carefully especially decisions that involve opening up to people.
- DETERMINED;
Once Nori has her mind set on something, there's no changing it. - EMPATHETIC; As a casteless dwarf, Nori has firsthand experience with the very worst of society's cruelty. Though her experiences have hardened her, they've also made her more likely to lend a hand, knowing how much it would have meant to her, growing up.
- GULLIBLE; More a matter of culture shock than personality. Nori has only been on the surface for a few short years, and is still adjusting to how different it is from Orzammar.
- SELF-SERVING; Growing up affiliated with the Carta has given Nori some self-serving instincts. Even if she wants to mean well, her first reaction will be to save her own skin.

- Mother - Kalah Brosca. (Relationship: Unstable. Nori was the subject of a great amount of verbal abuse from her mother, and was raised more by Rica than her.)
- Father - Unknown. (Relationship: Who knows what it could have been? Kalah bitterly claims Nori inherited her father's spirit for adventure. And his hair color.)
- Sister - Rica Brosca (Relationship: Close. Rica and Nori care for each other deeply, though Rica tends to dote on Nori and worry about her a great deal.)
HISTORY.
THE brand on Nori Brosca's cheek tells you all you need to know about her, from a dwarf's perspective - she is casteless, damned from birth, the lowest scum of Orzammar. Though a bright and engaging child, Nori was despised by her mother, and when her sister Rica wasn't raising her, she was tailing after the Carta in search of work. She became a proficient combatant, so much so that when she and her friend Leske were directed to sabotage a Proving Arena match, she fought in a man's place - and won the Proving. When the fact that she was no more than a casteless woman was revealed, she was nearly put to death for making a mockery of a time-honored sport. However, the Silent Sisters of Orzammar offered to accept her among their ranks instead. With no other choice, Nori abandoned the Carta and underwent the ritual, cutting out her tongue and vowing to fight in the name Astyth the Grey. Though she became a celebrated fighter, leaving a long trail of blood behind her as her sister Rica became concubine to Bhelen Aeducan, this life - which she had only agreed to in an effort to spare herself from the chopping block - grew tiresome. Nori abandoned the prestige of the Arena and the Silent Sisters and took off to the surface to pursue her father, who had left for the surface in her infancy and was never been heard from again. If she could not find him, then perhaps she could at least find a life more fulfilling than what Orzammar had given her.
