Worldstate and Timeline.
SFT begins mid-Inquisition, after "In Your Heart Shall Burn". The Inquisition has recently arrived to Skyhold. While the forum may loosely move along Inquisition's canon events, players are expected and encouraged to consider divorcing their storylines from canon and plotting out their own ideas.
It is considered, for the purposes of more roleplay options, that Corypheus has both of his armies and both of his lieutenants, regardless of whether the Inquisitor sides with the templars or the mages. One is simply smaller than the other.
Below is a list of the major choices from each game that build SFT's worldstate. These are decided by the players of the player canon characters.
DRAGON AGE: ORIGINS
female amell warden
• Broken Circle: The mages were supported and Kinloch Hold was not annulled. First Enchanter Irving survived the battle. The mages later aided Jenae and her allies against the Blight in Denerim.
• The Nature of the Beast: Zathrian was convinced to end his curse, sacrificing both himself and the Lady of the Forest. The former werewolves were cured, and the Dalish agreed to honor the Grey Warden treaties.
• A Paragon of Her Kind: Jenae sided with Caridin against Branka and destroyed the Anvil of the Void, as per the Paragon's wishes. Thanks to her intervention, Bhelen won his throne and rules Orzammar, which he repaid by sending dwarven troupes topside, as per the Grey Warden treaties.
• The Arl of Redcliffe: Redcliffe was aided in preparation and battle against the undead hordes. Connor is alive and not possessed. Isolde is also alive.
• The Urn of Sacred Ashes: The Urn of Sacred Ashes was not defiled, despite the Disciples of Andraste's wishes.
• The Landsmeet: Although the Landsmeet sided with Jenae in the matter of the Blight, Loghain was not executed for his crimes against Ferelden, but instead recruited into the Grey Wardens. Anora reassumed her throne and became Ferelden's sole ruler.
• The Battle of Denerim: The Blight was brought to an end when Jenae slayed the Archdemon and former Old God, Urthemiel. Thanks to Morrigan's aid and her Dark Ritual, the former Circle Mage survived the battle to be named the Hero of Ferelden.
• Awakening: Jenae's trial by fire as Warden Commander of Ferelden was a resounding success, given both Vigil's Keep and Amaranthine survived the darkspawn siege. While it is not common knowledge, she decided to take the Architect as an ally, however untrustworthy he might be, and let the darkspawn live.
• All other quest results to be determined when the need arises. Unless otherwise stated, however, all companions are considered to be "alive and well".

Roleplay Worldstate and Timeline.
Major events from roleplay will be put here, if they are deemed major enough.

SFT operates under a single, continuous timeline but utilizes liquid time. This means all your threads and everybody's threads exist in a single universe. However, liquid time means that where exactly each thread falls on the timeline isn't strictly by chronological dating. This is to make the difference between IC time and OOC time work easier! If, for example, Dorian and Cassandra have a thread started on July 10th, and Cassandra and Josephine have a thread started on July 12th, due to liquid time the thread with Josie could be considered to have happened before Dorian's thread if people want. Basically, time is fast and lose. You don't need to state liquid time or when you're setting it unless you feel it would help clarify the thread setting. Again, fast and loose. Liquid time is really only restricted around major threads with events that would greatly impact future threads.
