Inquisitor Choices [Big & Small]

So here's the dealio, I'm very much someone who is open to collaborating the very big Inquisitor Choices with everyone on here because I'm one-hundred-percent down to do what makes the site more engaging and interesting for everyone on the forum, and to make all of the decisions, big and small, very transparent and open for everyone to see/put in their two cents on/comment upon. Consider this a plotting board (??) and a means of keeping track of various things that dear Kossala has/will decide upon. SO! With that said, feel free to post here with anything plotting-related that involves the choices she makes! I'll update this main post with information over time, and with any big questions that I'd love input on from all of you (because Kossala would be the type to gauge the feelings of the people she leads before settling on any answers )!





What I'd love is input on what everyone may want for the world setting, seeing how that affects and impacts the characters and stories they may be eager about playing out here. The first large thing is very much who the Inquisition sides with to close the Breach! I'll list the two choices and the smaller details within them below (based on what Koss would do throughout either option ), and I'd be thrilled for an opinion from all of you as to which setting you'd be down for making part of the World State here on SFT.




      IN HUSHED WHISPERS

With a background stemming from an upbringing in Rivain, Kossala doesn't have the same stigma that many do for mages. However time spent as a mercenary through both Orlesian and Fereldan lands have opened her eyes to the way mages are treated around these parts, and the disposition that the public had about them. Her personal preference would be to seek them out in Redcliffe Villiage. This leads to pairing up with Dorian the Explorian and getting caught in the time warp where Koss gets to see her dear companions offer their lives as they change the future in order to change the past. This leads, of course, to the next factor.

Kossala is not interested in conscripting anyone into servitude. She's fought off the stigma of being a monster simply by being Qunari. She will not do as the Qun would, which is wrangle mages into servitude and rule over them with total control. Therefore an alliance would be offered always before the other option. 



      CHAMPIONS OF THE JUST

This is not the preferred option by Kossala, but if the needs of the people call for it she will seek out the templars for aid. With the entourage of nobles present to help convince the templars t aid, Therinfal Redoubt is traveled to and Knight-Templar Barris is met with. The ritual, with the banners, is indeed performed, with the order of people, templars, andraste with Koss' reasoning being her own. Denam is met, Red Templars are found out to be bad business, and confronting the Lord Seeker gets Envy involved. Horrific sights are witnessed, Cole is found, Red Templars fought, and eventually Envy defeated.

While Kossala recognizes that Barris has a good head on his shoulders, and is wholly capable of rebuilding the templars into greatness again, she is not fond of the means in which they serve. She would rather have the Templars as a force to serve the people rather than the Chantry, and would disband and absorb them into the force of the Inquisition to do precisely that.


So! Please post and let me know which option you think would suit character growth and plot lines best! I'd love to hear input before making the ultimate decision!





Any past decisions of time spent as Herald/Inquisitor that may (or may absolutely not) have anything to do with the World State. It's also got some bit of reasoning behind based on how Koss came to the decisions.

      THE WRATH OF HEAVEN

Despite inwardly wanting to find the missing scouts on the mountain trail, Kossala--recently made prisoner and then wrangled into closing rifts with her new glowing hand--still very much has the mindset of a mercenary. Her thought process is simple; get in, get the job done, and get out. With the added emphasis that the breach should be dealt with relatively soon, Kossala goes with her gut rather than lingering sympathies. Thus the quicker option of charging with the soldiers to the temple and to the breach is favored, and ultimately decided upon.

Corypheus is not that much taller and if he didn't look like he was made out of rock he could've been suplexed. Unfortunately he had some giant weird looking dog dragon that was bad news all around.

Kossala leads because, dear andraste's tits, it's the right thing to do.
