From here, Denerim was maybe a week away if she was lucky. If the weather held, that was, which knowing her luck and knowing the country, it wouldn't. Still - she hadn't planned to go to Denerim first (she hadn't really planned this far, period), but it would do. Anyway, the weather probably wouldn't hold up. The clouds were thick and heavy today, bringing in nothing but a cold wind but heralding rain on the horizon. Just lovely.
Anyway, she'd set up camp a little ways off the road when darkness inevitably came. But now it was late morning, and sun was high enough (even behind the clouds) that it was about time for her to back up camp. It was in the middle of doing this, while the embers on the fire were dying slowly, that she noticed someone approaching the camp.
Keziah straightened her uniformed and watched with a quiet sort of apprehension. When they got close enough she gave a little wave and an easy smile. "Hey there. Can I help you with something?"
Hopefully the answer wouldn't be the drawing of blades.

She genuinely enjoyed being out in the field. Tall grass and even taller trees. Bright skies that allowed sunshine to beam down upon the low earth that grumbled with the morning rise. Even the murky waters of the swamps, feeling the moss squish under your feet. It was similar to how it felt back home. But here, in Thedas, it was real. It was amazing to feel the breeze upon your flesh without having to beckon it. The surprise was a thrill and each day was special and unique.
But, Olivia had to remember why she was out here. For the time being, she was assisting the mortals of this world with their problems. She had no way to return home with the current flood of demons exitting the Fade. Every entrance was made an exit so she had to be patient. Occupying her time was important so she wouldn't let her mind wander away from here. So, assisting this 'Inquisition' should suffice.
Wardens were all around Thedas. Gone rogue or answering their Calling. They wandered through the lands under the noses of the people. It was quite amusing to see how clueless some of these mortals were. Olivia approached the small camp with gentle footsteps. She kept her hands to her sides, signaling no danger. But the staff across her back mean't she was prepared if something went wrong.
"You should not camp outside of town..."

Well, they didn't seem too intent on a fight, so Keziah let her guard drop. There was a staff across their back, same as her. A rebel mage, come to act friend? No, that didn't seem right. Either way, she gestured causally for the visitor to come close if they so wished. With that, Keziah returned to packing up what little remained of her camp.
"Oh? Huh, yeah, 'suppose not." She tapped her chin, and then went back to tying up her bedroll. "But the closest town was a day or two away from here, yeah. Unless I.... read the map wrong? Shit, not again." Seemed unlikely, but she did have a lot on her mind. "Anyway. Better to camp a ways off the road, so bandits don't come by. There's the risk of bears, or wolves, but I'd rather fight a wolf than a bandit, y'know?"
Once that was tied up and stuffed back into her pack, she straightened and looked at the visit. "Right. Just stopping by, are you? I'd offer you some food, but I'm fresh out. Gotta do some hunting."

Olivia watched with little curiousity as Keziah signaled for her to approach. The red headed woman took a few careful steps forward before walking at a normal pace. She closed the distance between the edge of the bush and the camp. She stood there silently, watching the other back up her things without offering any kind of assistance. Her brown eyes wondered back to the forest line, looking off as if to check for more people following her.
"An inn in the town would offer more protection than the tree's bark and shadows." She stated calmly as her eyes lolled back over, focusing on the Warden. "The forest is sturdy, but always alive. Sounds could become mixed and confused. A squirrel or a bandit? A person or a bear?" She hummed for a moment, thinking out loud to herself "I wonder which would be worse..."
She shook her head no. "I do not require food, but thank you for the offer. I am simply looking around the forest for today. May I follow you for a bit?"

The thing about the Wardens was that they'd take anyone. Well, not anyone. Or maybe it was like - not everyone could become a Warden, but anyone could. So you could end up around some kinda strange people (by some standard, wouldn't she count as strange? Oh well). The point was that, as much as Keziah was used to a little strangeness, this person struck her as odd. Couldn't place why, but the way she talked...
"Well, beggars can't be choosers. 'Sides, I woke up in one peice, so it's all good, yeah?" She finished up the last of her packing - she traveled light, after all - and then turned to face the stranger.
"Huh? Sure, if you'd like." The Warden pulled her pack up over her shoulders, bringing out her staff, which always conveniently doubled as a walking stick. "I'm heading north. That work for you?" Either it did or it didn't, so Keziah set off in the direction of the path.
"Don't think I caught your name," she'd say, if her companion was still following her. "I'm Keziah."

But Keziah was not a beggar. She was-- no is, a Warden. A typically respected rank in Thedas, from the stories she heard. The fifth blight was recent, was it not? Ugh. Time, the mortal concept, made Olivia's head spin. There is no time. Everything is present. Anything that happened in the past of Thedas could be reflected numerous times in the Fade. Time was...complex, even to a being like Olivia.
Slightly caught up in her thoughts, she scrambled forward to follow her new companion. She had a mission, to track down Wardens and offer them to the Inquisition forces. Easy for her to locate the Wardens. The taint grasped at their inner edges. Olivia's eyes would pierce flesh and see what lies beneath. She knew when a Warden was near.
"North is fine." She responded calmly as she walked by Keziah's side. "My name is Olivia Arms. It is a pleasure to meet you, out in the woods." Her eyes flicked back to the trees before landing back on her travelling buddy.
"Do you often travel among the trees?"
