GENERAL APPEARANCE. Tall and broadly muscled, wide-shouldered and lean-hipped. Dark auburn hair pulled away from his face, light eyes a muddy shade somewhere between grey and green. Classically handsome, though boasting of his fair share of scars and a generally stubbled cheek. Sun-roughened, tanned skin from a life lived mostly outdoors. When not in full Templar armor, Adaon would normally be dressed in relatively simple, practical garb of leather trimmed with fur, or perhaps basic scale. Hard-wearing and suited to his rough-and-ready lifestyle.

Adaon is a true diplomat. He is easily able to see things through another person’s point of view, to empathize and understand. He always wants to make things right and have balance and harmony in his life, their surroundings and the lives of the people close to him. Captivating and charming, he is easy to like due to his essentially easygoing nature. He’s almost always the center of a group, drawing people to him, and he’s come to not only enjoy but rather expect the attention. Though he is quite intelligent, this is often overshadowed by or hidden beneath his outer seeming. He is not of a particularly scholarly bent, though he did receive a fine education. Energetic and fond of hunting, jousting, sword-play, he is also noble-born and noble-raised and enjoys the luxury which accompanies that heritage. He can be somewhat profligate, spending coin easily, but his friends and loved ones also benefit from this largesse; he is fond of giving gifts, and they are always thoughtful.

BRIEF BIO.
The youngest son of the Dathyl family, a very minor noble house of Ansburg, Adaon was destined from birth to be sent to the Chantry in one fashion or another, according to a long-standing family tradition. He was educated in all the proper niceties of nobility, and trained also as a swordsman from a young age. In his tenth year, Adaon entered the local Chantry to begin his training as a Templar, taking his final vows to the Order at the age of eighteen.

Ansburg being a relatively rural, agricultural region and not one of the grand cities – a backwater, as it is often called – the Templars in the region are attached more to individual Chantries than to Circles of Magi; indeed, Ansburg boasts no Circle of its own. In practice, Ansburg Templars tend to serve as a reinforcements to the civil authorities and city guard as much as to the Chantry’s needs. Very rarely are their skills in subduing apostates and maleficarum called for, and only those Templars who served elsewhere first have any experience with Harrowings and the other more esoteric applications of Templar abilities.
