NAME: Remiëll Domitius(Remy for short)
GENDER: Male
RACE: Human
CLASS: Hedge mage
Occupation: Information broker
Occupation: Information broker
NATIONALITY: Tevinter
AFFILIATION: neutral, selfgain
PERSONALITY: Remiëll is a very enthusiastic person ever since his life started to take the bright side. It makes him impulsive and sometimes a little bit to carefree. But when he needs to do his job he puts on a complete different mask. He turns into this serious person, who is fully focused on finding lies and reading body language. His job is the only thing that allows him to live such a carefree afterall.
Remy is known to have his charms, 'entertaining' magister who had enough of their loveless arranged marriage. Truly he's more of a boytoy to them than their actual lover.
At times he can be very Naïve especially towards non-Tevene's. It's a world he barely known and he just can't put his finger on some of their behaviour. If he comes across one he will ask rather blunt to just plain rude questions about things. It's all with good intentions the expression of it is just horrible.
His biggest flaw is probably how easily he can become addicted, place something fun in front of his eyes and he can be taken by it for days. Acting like a little kid who just got a new toy refusing to share it with everyone else, by all he's an egocentric person. But himself is all he ever had.
Last but not least he is easily frightened, carry a sword and he will make sure not to stand to close to you. Same counts for many other situation, Remy will choose to avoid rather than confront in this case.

HISTORY: Not much is known about the origin of Remiëll and when asked he will tell a different story everytime. How his parents were exiled nobles fleeing for their lives, to how he's a bastard between a favored slave and some fine magister. We'll never know the truth, the one thing we do know is that Remiëll was once a slave. Bought on young age as playmate for young altus children, only to be sold again once they grew bored of him. He didn't ask many questions back then. As a slave you didn't ask questions, questions meant punishment.
Years easily passed by, and little Remiëll grew up into a fine young lad. He was bought by an old shady scholar. His tasks were easy keep the place tidy and organised. Easier said than done, as it turned out the house was gigantic and full of old books. His new master was at work most of the time, keeping records, and the occasional chat and exchanging of money with strangers. So most of the time the only companionship Remiëll had were the vermin around him...who eventually 'talked' back to his own surprise. They didn't speak Tevene or the common tongue but he could understand them. Rats let him feel what they liked and disliked, on what they agreed and disagreed. Whole conversations were made without an actual spoken word. Then the visions came, short moments that he could see through their eyes. Move around the library were he could see their small world from a new perspective. However to do this his body became numb, staying motionless on the ground.
Possessing animals became an obsession, his only way to escape the reality he was living in. It was his master however who put a stop to it. No more toying around with rats, and 'sleeping' in the middle of the day. Remiëll stuck close to his master's side, while he performed his job in the city. First of all it was unknown what exactly he was doing beside talking to people all day and exchanging money. But bit by bit he picked up what was exactly happening. His masters true job turned out to be information broker, known as whisperers in the Tevene cities. Following silent in his master's shadow he learned the craft. Remiëll would have remained in the shadow if it wasn't for that one man that tried to sell them false information. For once he spoke up, calling the other a dirty liar. It earned him a both negative and positive attention. The client demanded the slave to shut his mouth armed with a dagger the liar attacked him. Unexpected his master protected Remiëll before the liar could do him real harm. The client got punished in an appropriate way while Remiëll earned the words 'Maybe you're not that useless after all'. After this event the sun suddenly seemed to shine upon Remiëll, his master took him more serious. Occasional even his opinion was asked on important matters.
With this welfare an even greater gift came; in the deed of his masters passing he was set free. Becoming a Liberati, meaning legally set free slave in Tevinter. With his new standing and experience he had gained Remiëll took over the role of Minrathous information broker. Now he lives a decent and most important enjoyable life.
APPEARANCE: A tall slender build man, who appears to be tired most of the time. Blonde half long hair, that is so used to being stroked backwards it remains that way. His chin is adorned by a stuble most of the time, as his beard grows rather fast. Underneath his eyes are several obvious freckles, giving him a more innocent look.
